The mission of One Place is to make a difference in the lives of Onslow County children and families by focusing on educational readiness, childhood mental health, and ending child abuse. Over the next five years, we look to increase and sustain funding, allowing us to both expand our services and build our forever home. Below are reference documents outlining our impact and financials over the past few years as we continue our work to end child abuse.
Multi-Partnership Accounting & Contracting
Multi-Partnership Accounting and Contracting (MAC) sites are an essential part of the Smart Start network in North Carolina. Created to meet a state legislative requirement for a statewide accounting and contract management system, One Place serves as a MAC Lead Site and centralizes accounting and contract functions for local partnerships.
The main purpose of this initiative is to group accounting and fiscal processing services into a manageable number of regions to ensure these services are provided in a quality and cost-effective manner for each local partnership. One Place serves a total of 16 local partnerships and processes more than $56 million annually.
