An Investment for the Future

Since 1998, One Place has provided vital programs and services to thousands of children and families. From preventing child abuse to connecting families with high-quality child care, our goal is to support every child who calls Onslow County home. Our work would simply not be possible without the support of generous donors who believe in our mission — and the impact we can make in the lives of children and families. Your support helps us sustain the life-changing programs that we’ve provided for over 23 years.

To further our commitment to supporting children and families, we have launched the Every Child, One Hope, One Place Annual Fund. This fund will help us embody our mission of offering hope and healing as we work to prevent child abuse and neglect, connect local children and families with resources, and provide programs to build mental and emotional strength and resilience.

With your support, we can deepen our impact in three powerful ways: 

• Strengthening Children: The first 2,000 days of a child’s life are the most important. We provide mental health resources and support to build a child’s resilience — so they have the tools they need to thrive throughout life.
• Connecting Families: We connect families and children to helpful resources — from finding the right child care program to helping military families settle in Onslow County. With these services, families become confident, empowered, and engaged with their community.
• Ending Child Abuse: All of our programs are designed to serve as protective factors for children and families. When children are hurt through abuse or neglect, our Child Advocacy Center provides hope and healing through individualized services.
